Agalinis laxa merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Orobanchaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari South Carolina timur hingga Florida timur laut. Nama ilmiah Agalinis laxa diperkenalkan oleh Francis Whittier Pennell pada tahun 1913.
