Aglaonema pictum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Araceae (suku talas-talasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Sumatra (termasuk Nias). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan cara de caballo. Nama ilmiah Aglaonema pictum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Roxburgh pada tahun 1841.
