Astragalus cottonii merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Washington. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan cotton's milkvetch. Nama ilmiah Astragalus cottonii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Marcus Eugene Jones pada tahun 1923.
