BIRDBILL WOODOATS Chasmanthiumornithorhynchum Nees
Chasmanthium ornithorhynchum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian tenggara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan birdbill woodoats. Nama ilmiah Chasmanthium ornithorhynchum diperkenalkan oleh Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck pada tahun 1838.
