Cordia sulcata merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Karibia. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan mucilage manjack. Nama ilmiah Cordia sulcata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alphonse Louis Pierre Pyrame de Candolle pada tahun 1845.
