Dalea carnea merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan) yang tumbuh dalam bentuk perdu kecil atau semak. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian tenggara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan whitetassels. Nama ilmiah Dalea carnea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis André Michaux pada tahun 1819.
