Desmodium heterocarpon adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan asian ticktrefoil. Nama ilmiah Desmodium heterocarpon pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1825.
