Diodia apiculata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu kecil dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian) yang memiliki siklus hidup semusim (annual). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan stiff buttonweed. Nama ilmiah Diodia apiculata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Ludwig von Willdenow pada tahun 1888.
