Encephalartos woodii merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Zamiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah KwaZulu-Natal (Ngoye Forest). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan wood's cycad. Nama ilmiah Encephalartos woodii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Henry Frederick Conrad Sander pada tahun 1908.
