Eragrostis glutinosa merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Meksiko (Jalisco), Kuba, Jamaika. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan sticky lovegrass. Nama ilmiah Eragrostis glutinosa diperkenalkan oleh Olof Peter Swartz pada tahun 1830.
