Ligusticum mutellina merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan alpine lovage. Nama ilmiah Ligusticum mutellina pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Heinrich Johann Nepomuk von Crantz pada tahun 1767.
