Lotus dendroideus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan island broom. Nama ilmiah Lotus dendroideus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Edward Lee Greene pada tahun 1890.
