Lupinus pallidus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah California selatan. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan pale desert lupine. Nama ilmiah Lupinus pallidus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Townshend Stith Brandegee pada tahun 1893.
