Nassella tenuis merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Chili selatan-tengah hingga Argentina. Nama ilmiah Nassella tenuis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Rodolfo Amando Philippi pada tahun 1990.
