NEEDLE PALM Rhapidophyllumhystrix (Fraser ex Thouin) H.Wendl. & Drude
Rhapidophyllum hystrix adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Arecaceae (suku pinang-pinangan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian tenggara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan needle palm. Nama ilmiah Rhapidophyllum hystrix pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Fraser pada tahun 1876.
