Rubus triphyllus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan threeleaf blackberry. Nama ilmiah Rubus triphyllus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Peter Thunberg pada tahun 1784.
