Sanicula saxatilis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah California. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan devil's blacksnakeroot. Nama ilmiah Sanicula saxatilis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Edward Lee Greene pada tahun 1893.
