Thaumatococcus daniellii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Marantaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Afrika barat dan barat-tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan miracle fruit atau sweet prayer plant. Nama ilmiah Thaumatococcus daniellii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Joseph Bennett pada tahun 1884.
