Besseya rubra adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Plantaginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan red besseya. Nama ilmiah Besseya rubra diperkenalkan oleh David Douglas pada tahun 1903. Nama ini merupakan sinonim dari Veronica rubra.
