Cochleanthes flabelliformis merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Amerika. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan fanshape orchid. Nama ilmiah Cochleanthes flabelliformis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Olof Peter Swartz pada tahun 1959.
