Commiphora habessinica merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Burseraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan abyssinian myrrh. Nama ilmiah Commiphora habessinica diperkenalkan oleh Otto Karl Berg pada tahun 1883. Nama ini merupakan sinonim dari Commiphora kua.
