Echinacea atrorubens merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Kansas hingga Texas. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan topeka purple coneflower. Nama ilmiah Echinacea atrorubens diperkenalkan oleh Thomas Nuttall pada tahun 1840.
