Eichhornia azurea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan air (hidrofit) dari famili Pontederiaceae yang hidup menahun. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan anchored water hyacinth. Nama ilmiah Eichhornia azurea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Olof Peter Swartz pada tahun 1843.
