GAHARU HITAM Gonystylusmacrophyllus (Miq.) Airy Shaw
Gaharu hitam merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Thymelaeaceae. Tumbuhan yang dikenal dengan nama ilmiah Gonystylus macrophyllus ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kepulauan Nikobar hingga Kepulauan Solomon. Nama ilmiah Gonystylus macrophyllus diperkenalkan oleh Friedrich Anton Wilhelm Miquel pada tahun 1947.
