Lomatium congdonii merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah California tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan mariposa desertparsley. Nama ilmiah Lomatium congdonii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama John Merle Coulter pada tahun 1900.
