Passiflora foetida merupakan tumbuhan semusim atau dwimusim dari famili Passifloraceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan tropis dan subtropis Amerika . Di Indonesia tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan nama cheplukan blungsun (Jawa), ermut, atau rajutan (Sunda). Nama ilmiah Passiflora foetida diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carolus Linnaeus pada tahun 1753.
