Abatia rugosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Salicaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Peru tengah (Huánuco). Nama ilmiah Abatia rugosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Hipólito Ruiz López pada tahun 1794.
