Abies firma merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Pinaceae (suku pinus-pinusan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Jepang tengah dan selatan. Nama ilmiah Abies firma pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Philipp Franz von Siebold pada tahun 1842.
