Abies veitchii merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Pinaceae (suku pinus-pinusan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Jepang (Honshu, Shikoku). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan christmastree. Nama ilmiah Abies veitchii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Lindley pada tahun 1861.
