Abolboda scabrida merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Xyridaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Venezuela selatan (Cerro Aracamuni). Nama ilmiah Abolboda scabrida pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Robert Kral pada tahun 1989.
