Abrotanella purpurea merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Chili selatan. Nama ilmiah Abrotanella purpurea diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Ulf Swenson pada tahun 1995.
