Acacia confusa merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Taiwan, kawasan Malesia barat, hingga Filipina. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan small philippine acacia. Nama ilmiah Acacia confusa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Elmer Drew Merrill pada tahun 1910.
