Acacia elata merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah New South Wales timur. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan mountain hickory atau (mountain) cedar wattle. Nama ilmiah Acacia elata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Allan Cunningham pada tahun 1842.
