Acacia pycnantha merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Australia tenggara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan golden wattle. Nama ilmiah Acacia pycnantha diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama George Bentham pada tahun 1842.
