Acalypha amentacea var. heterotricha merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kepulauan Caroline (Pulau Babeldaob). Nama ilmiah Acalypha amentacea var. heterotricha pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Francis Raymond Fosberg pada tahun 1980.
