Acalypha dioica adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko (Nuevo León hingga México State). Nama ilmiah Acalypha dioica diperkenalkan oleh Sereno Watson pada tahun 1890.
