Acalypha elliptica adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Jamaika. Nama ilmiah Acalypha elliptica diperkenalkan oleh Olof Peter Swartz pada tahun 1788.
