Acalypha glechomifolia adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kuba hingga Hispaniola. Nama ilmiah Acalypha glechomifolia pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Achille Richard pada tahun 1850.
