Acalypha lepinei adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kepulauan Society (Tahiti, Bora Bora, Raiatea). Nama ilmiah Acalypha lepinei pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johannes Müller Argoviensis pada tahun 1865.
