Acalypha leptorhachis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kuba barat, St. Vincent. Nama ilmiah Acalypha leptorhachis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johannes Müller Argoviensis pada tahun 1865.
