Acalypha urophylla adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Komoro, Madagaskar. Nama ilmiah Acalypha urophylla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Henri Ernest Baillon pada tahun 1861.
