Acanthophippium chrysoglossum merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol menyerupai umbi lapis (pseudobulbous). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Sumatra Barat. Nama ilmiah Acanthophippium chrysoglossum diperkenalkan oleh Rudolf Schlechter pada tahun 1911.
