Acanthophyllum elatius merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Iran hingga Asia tengah. Nama ilmiah Acanthophyllum elatius pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alexander Andrejewitsch von Bunge pada tahun 1867.
