Acanthophyllum xanthoporphyranthum merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Afghanistan (Herat). Nama ilmiah Acanthophyllum xanthoporphyranthum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ian Charleson Hedge pada tahun 1964.
