Acanthopsis hoffmannseggiana adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim atau menahun dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Namibia selatan hingga Provinsi Cape. Nama ilmiah Acanthopsis hoffmannseggiana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck pada tahun 1912.
