Acanthospermum glabratum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil tenggara. Nama ilmiah Acanthospermum glabratum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1967.
