Acanthospermum microcarpum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Galápagos, Ekuador, hingga Peru. Nama ilmiah Acanthospermum microcarpum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Benjamin Lincoln Robinson pada tahun 1902.
