Acanthus hirsutus subsp. syriacus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Türkiye selatan dan timur hingga Israel. Nama ilmiah Acanthus hirsutus subsp. syriacus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 1989.
