Acanthus montanus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Sierra Leone, Benin, Chad selatan, hingga Zambia. Nama ilmiah Acanthus montanus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck pada tahun 1863.
