Acer triflorum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Sapindaceae (suku lerak-lerakan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari China timur laut hingga Korea. Nama ilmiah Acer triflorum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Vladimir Leontyevich Komarov pada tahun 1901.
